Section 1 (10:00-11:00) Rose Garden

The San Jose Rose Garden, known as "America's Best Rose Garden".

The undulating green lawns and gorgeous flowers fill the entire rose garden.

The planting of roses began in China about 5,000 years ago

Confucius wrote that there is a record of growing roses in the imperial garden around 500 BC.

He also mentioned that the emperor’s library contained hundreds of books about roses. After that, the people of the Han Dynasty became so obsessed with roses that they occupied too much land in their parks to grow roses, which once threatened food. Therefore, the emperor ordered the transfer of his cultivated land back to growing food.

Section 2 (11:45-13:00) Botanical Garden

Inside the Santa Cruz Botanical Garden

Large plants from natives of South Africa, the Mediterranean, New Zealand, Australia and California are displayed.

Many of these species cannot be grown and studied in other ways in other gardens and parks in the United States.

The rich and diverse collection here also includes representatives of more than 300 plant families in the Mediterranean climate.

Section 3 (13:45-15:00) Food Amour Amour Tapas & Bar

Filoli Historic House & Garden is a historic site of the National Trust of the United States.

It is a historic house, garden and nature reserve, which integrates British, Italian, and American gardening layouts.

In the course of 100 years of history, the two families Bourns and Roths owned the estate.

But they can only represent one part of the story.

This spring, Filoli highlighted three Asian Americans who helped the Filoli community build and manage the estate. They are

A florist who changed the texture of the garden.

A beloved chef who works for Roths.

A famous landscape designer, preserved Filoli Garden for the public.

This building has been preserved and it is known to future generations, their story is also an important one.

The numbers of passengers are limited and advance bookings are recommended. Cancellations made 5 days prior to the travel date will be fully refunded. The company will let you know of any unforeseen changes in the itinerary due to COVID-19, thank you for your attention on this matter.

1. In the event of unforeseen weather, holidays, exhibition periods, accidents, disasters, mechanical failures or politics affect part of the itinerary, the company’s representatives have the right to reserve changes to the itinerary and the right to change hotels based on the prevailing circumstances.  The group members are not allowed to object and any extra expenses incurred shall be borne by passengers themselves, and the company shall do its duty to assist.

2. In order to protect the rights and interests of the team, if there are passengers who hinder the normal operation and interests of the team (including repeatedly affecting the emotions of others), the tour guide of the company has the right to cancel the qualification of continuing to participate in the group. All actions have nothing to do with the company.

3. If a passenger is absent, late or leaves the tour during the itinerary due to personal factors, the company will not be responsible for any losses and will not refund the tour fee.

4. If you cancel the trip due to personal factors before leaving the group, please follow the company's cancellation and amendment regulations. Violation or overdue cannot be refunded.

5. Please take care of your personal belongings during the itinerary. Our tour guides and drivers will try their best to assist the guests in finding the lost items, but they are not responsible for guaranteeing the recovery. If found, the company will take care of it for a period of one month, and all the money will be donated to charity after the deadline.

6. When the number of passengers is less than 10, the company has the right to cancel the tour, and refund the prepaid deposit or tour fee, and will not be liable for other damages.

7. All domestic bus groups have purchased insurance with a bus coverage of 1 million.
